Not all weddings are the same. Studio D Photography enjoyed this one. One photographer is enough to cover 80 people.
Both the ceremony and the reception were held at Indian Trails in Colona, Illinois. Picnic themed with vibrant Spring colors, barbecue, board games, and lots of attention to details by the bride’s mom made it fun!
I stick business cards in pockets and odd places, and when I go to look for them …..you guessed it… can’t find them. Both the florist and A Guy and a Grill had it on their vehicles. It was super easy just to snap and pass them along to you. Both were really great. A Guy and a Grill prepared hamburgers, chicken, and brat patties……. yum!!! He has several grills and can handle major large groups of people down to the comfortably small groups.
The end of the day was a surprise for Kelsey and David. All the wedding guests knew but they did not. Mom invited them to take a walk with her out towards the parking lot. They were looking around with a confused look at all the guests following along. They round the corner and there on the grass is the truck with the very obvious hot air balloon basket. They signed their wavers to ascend, and then everyone sat on the grass to watch the balloon being readied for flight and the testing of the winds aloft. Kelsey was able to check one thing off her bucket list. They left for an hour long hot air balloon ride with Crazy Dreams n a Linstrand 90A 90,000 cubic feet Hot Air Balloon Aircraft Number N440MD under the very capable pilot Brian Becker.
